Before that I spent twenty years as a creative leader at AKQA, BBH, and Pereira O'Dell, creating groundbreaking work for Red Bull, Intel, Adobe, Crypto.com, IHOP and MINI. In 2022, when I made the change from Chief Creative Officer to Chief Strategy Officer, I brought creative thinking to deliver sharper insights for brands ranging from TikTok to Suntory Spirits.
My background isn't traditional, but it's more relevant than ever. I started my career right as digital was disrupting marketing. Today feels similar, but on orders of magnitude bigger. Digital simply changed what we made. AI changes what we make, how we make it and even how we think about it.
It'd be naïve to say it's not un-nerving. It is, but it's also exciting. AI doesn't just create efficiency. It can fuel human ambition.
